  Needed to rent the pick up truck. Called in the morning to ask about it and was told that it is available but that they cannot reserve it for me for a specific time. He did say, however, that if I called when I was on my way, that he is able to hold it for me for up to 20 minutes. I said that would be great and I would call back. I called back at 11:23am and said I needed to rent the truck. He asked me when I would be there and I said no more than 20 minutes because I was already on my way. He took my last name and said he could hold it for 25 minutes. I arrived about 15 minutes later. There was an older man that had just walked up to the counter and an employee was taking care of him. Another employee asked what I needed. I told her I was here to pick up the truck. She walked over to the other employee and told her and then came back to me and said she was sorry but that gentleman was already renting the truck. Another male employee came over and also said he is sorry but they don’t hold the trucks for people. I told him as well what I was told on the phone. The female employee helping the older gentleman comes back over to me and picks up the phone obviously calling whoever told me he would hold the truck. While she’s on the phone she asked me my last name and it was obvious that she was also given my name by the person she was talking to on the phone, confirming that he did tell me he would hold it for me. She hangs up the phone and snaps, “this is exactly why we don’t hold the trucks!” Then goes back over to the other customer. The other female employee asks me what I want to do, if I want to leave my name for when the truck is back. I said no, I want the truck. The older gentleman asks me how long I would be with the truck and was considering agreeing to let me use it. The female employee that called and confirmed that I was told it was being held for 25 minutes then just walks with the older man out of the store leaving me standing there wondering what the heck just happened. I left and drove another 20 minutes to Home Depot...but got my truck with no problems.

  The lady who was helping us with kitchen cabinets, didn't get her name, was checking on availability of a sink and never came back to us. Next thing we know she is helping someone else as we were standing there waiting. It seemed liked the couple of employees we dealt with in various depts either didn't know what they were doing or really wasnt too interested in helping us.
